NaturVet® Hemp Quiet Moments® Cat Soft Chews are for use in cats over the age of 12 weeks. Calming Aid contains a synergistic blend of Chamomile, Thiamine, L‑Tryptophan, Melatonin, Ginger, and Hemp Seed. Great for storms, fireworks, travel, and grooming.

Amount
Give 2 soft chews 30 minutes prior to a stressful situation

Do not exceed 4 soft chews in a 12-hour period

If animal’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian. Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. Caution with concomitant use of MAO inhibitors and sedatives.

Warnings:
Not for human consumption. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately. Due to the tasty nature of our products, do not leave package unattended around pets.

Tried these out on a semi-feral cat who I'm trying to get to be a bit calmer so he doesn't claw or bite me. I broke them up and added them into the dry food, he ate them, and I noticed within the hour he was somewhat calmer and I could pet him without him biting or clawing me. I do believe however that my indoor cat would not like them, but I seem to feel that they helped calm the feral cat a bit and I did not notice him becoming at all sleepy, just calmer.

Hello, I just mixed two of these treats into my kittens wet food. She is 7 months old and she is knocked out. I just realized these treats are for cats 12 months and over. She is sound asleep and is being very lazy. Is this okay? Do you think giving her two of these is bad for her health?

We recommend this product for cats 12 months and over, but customers with younger pets use them with no ill effects to their health. The sleepiness is from the Quiet Moments, but will wear off as the supplement leaves her system. Got these chews for my cat originally for 4th of July knowing there would be some really loud fireworks next door. They worked really well for my 13 lb. cat. He was relaxed enough that he still felt comfortable curled up in the living room for the evening. I've also used them during a multi-day roadtrip and when our house was being re-roofed. They're perfect for taking the edge off! He did appreciate the treats broken up for him. And, I love that they don't dry out or expire as quickly as some of the other calming chews we've tried! Definitely well worth every penny for my kitty.
