  2. Hi there. I am trying Hemp Quiet Moments calming drops on my cat with IBS. Stress of any kind really does a number on him. So far he’s very mellow and calm after taking 1ml. Can you tell me if there are any long term usage consequences I should be aware of or watch for. He weighs about 10 lbs. and I don’t think he’ll need more than 2ml. at the most per day. Thankyou.

  3. Hi Lisa. We are so happy to hear that the product is helping your cat. The product was developed to be given to pets during stressful times. It sounds like your poor kitty is stressed all the time. I would suggest our Quiet Moments Calming pheromone spray daily and add the drops during particular stress times only. I would also suggest staying with the 1 ml. if it is working.

  4. Trying this on my chihuahua, Sadie, shes older and is beginning to have some anxiety throughout the night. I’m hopeful this will help! I’d rather use something more natural before considering medication. How long till this generally takes affect, also is there a general time limit it last in the body of the dog? Thanks!

  5. I am giving my puppy a 1 full dropper of the Hemp calming drops Hemp Oil 2x a day but it seems that it doesn’t work at all. I didn’t see any changes towards my pup’s behavior. Been using the oil for 5days and bought it at PetCo

  6. Hola, quisiera saber si este aceite le sirve a mi perro que sufre de convulsiones?
Muchas personas me han recomendado que le dé esto pero no estoy segura de que le pueda servir

  7. Hi Maria. You did not mention why you are giving the calming aid to a puppy. You can increase it to 1 1/2 dropper twice a day. If your puppy has an issue like separation anxiety, we suggest you work with a Certified Dog Trainer since product is not for long term.

  8. Hi Kuta. Thank you for your product question. Because all dogs are different, the efficacy times may vary. The average time to take effect is 30 to 40 minutes. The calming effect can last up to four hours. We might also suggest our Quiet Moments Calming Pheromone Spray. It can be used with the Calming Drops and usually lasts up to 8 hours.

  9. Hi Michael. Thank you for your product question. We are not Veterinarians so we suggest you take the Calming Drops to your Veterinarian for a use determination.

  10. Hi Jennifer. Usually 9 week old kittens do not need a calming product as they are not bothered by stressful situations. By 12 weeks, they have faced situations like trips to the Veterinarian, etc. If your little kitten is facing a major issue, please consult with your Veterinarian before giving the product.

  11. I have a two year old cat that is very aggressive when clipping her nails. Each time we clip them she is getting more aggressive. I gave her 2 droppers several hours before we trying to clip her nails. She was biting and growling thru the whole procedure. Should I be giving her daily doses to try to calm her when it’s time to clip again?

  12. Hi Carol. Thank you for your product question. You may try giving the drops a few hours before the nail clipping and then one dose within one hour of the nail clipping. If this does not work for your kitty please call 888-628-8783 or email naturvet@naturvet.com for refund information.

  13. How would I give my cat oil drops if my cat don’t eat human food and I don’t want her to be forced to take it and then be scared of taking stuff I have to give her

  14. HI Candace. You can mix it in with some canned cat food. Another option would be our Quiet Moments Room Spray for cats as that can last up to 8 hours and you do not have to give it orally.

  15. Can my teacup yorkie who is barely 3 lbs overdose on this? I understand this is a natural product. Just making sure it’s safe. He is 12 weeks.

  16. Hi Marissa. Thank you for your product question. At your puppy’s age we would recommend using the Quiet Moments Calming Pheromone Spray instead of an internal calming aid. For more information you can email us at naturvet@naturet.com.

  17. Can I give my 17lbs dog 2 droppers before bedtime,or will he have side effects??

  18. Hi Marcia. Thank you for your product question. You can try one and one half dropper and if that is not effective, you can try two droppers since you doggy is right at the weight for two droppers.

  19. Hi, we just got a foster German Shepard from a rescue. He was abandoned twice, lived with 9 other dogs previously and extremely nervous. He was returned by his previous adopted family because he was grumpy and bit the owner. We understand he has severe trust issues and he has been really alerted/unease, so we tried to give him this product every night. I just worry if there’s side effect or long term harm/ potential addiction to the product? We want to stop giving him this when he’s more familiar with us.

  20. Hello. Kudos to you for offering this dog a home. Normally we would not recommend the product for extended use, but you do have a future plan to discontinue its use after your dog settles in. If you contact Sue Friley at naturvet@naturvet.com, she will send you a free bottle of our Quiet Moments Pheromone spray which can be used on a daily basis and in conjunction with the Hemp Quiet Moments Calming Drops.

  21. I gave the drops to my dog for anxiety and stress only twice and she had severe diarrhea and vomiting all night with it. Is that a side effect and if so I didnt read any side effects listed??

  22. Hi Tanja. We are very sorry your doggy had this kind of reaction to the product. Please call a Customer Service Team Member at 888-628-8783 8am-5pm Monday thru Friday as we would like to do a follow up with you on your dog’s condition.

  23. my son has a dog about one &a half he is stressed all the time. HE HAS ANOTHER DOG THAT IS ABOUT 4 , they get along super, the younger one is smaller, but he doesn’t know how to play nice.the older just play nice all the time.Younger one cries and wines ALL THE TIME . HE’S BEEN TO THE VET,nothing wrong with him. young one is half cattle dog & mini rottweiler. WHAT PRODUCE DO YOU RECOMMENED?

  24. HI Sandy. Thank you for your product question. Any of our calming aid supplements are beneficial and I would also recommend our Quiet Moments Pheromone Spray which usually last up to 8 hours and can be used in conjunction with any of our calming aid supplements.

  25. how much time between doses can I give my dog the repeated dose without overdosing them

  26. Hi Ernestina. Thank you for your product question. You can repeat the dosing once after four hours within a 24 hour window.

  27. This product has been fantastic for my cat, who is older, diabetic and has trouble with going up/down stairs and going in his litter box. When taking it he no longer goes outside the litter box, and his coat is much shinier, and he’s much happier. Also it has been the only thing that works on travel. Even the vet-prescribed medications didn’t work.

Could you tell me if this can be shipped to Canada, or retail stores in Canada that carry it?

  28. Hi Marianne. We sell to a Distributor in Western Canada, not to individual stores, and they do carry the product. You can visit our store locator from our “Where To Buy” tab and input your city or zip code. Stores in your areas should pop right up. If you have any problems, please call our Customer Service Team at 888-628-8783 PST.

  29. Hello my dog has major separation anxiety . She barks non-stop on end . I recently purchased these calming drops but before use I would like to know the amount of drops to put when it comes to the ounces of water. I know how many drops a pet receives for their weight but does it matter how much water is in the bowl , rather to increase the douse or lower ?

  30. Hi Luvenia. Thank you for your product question. The product is effective when dosed directly into the mouth not in a water bowl.

  31. Hemp Quiet Moments Drops are working great for my 5 month old kitten. The cautions listed for the product state not to use prior to anesthesia. How many days before surgery should I discontinue use?

  32. Hi John. We are very happy the product is working well for your kitten. You need to discontinue use of the product 24 hours before and after surgery.

  33. Hi Christopher. Thank you for your product question. We manufacture supplements and not drugs, so we cannot make any drug claims and would refer you back to your Veterinarian for that answer.

  34. Hello we just rescued a 2 1/2 year old Chihuahua with separation anxiety issues, aggression at times, and some trust issues. Our last rescue chihuahua that we rehabilitated lived 19 years and had a wonderful remained of her life once we worked with her. This little guy is about 6 lbs. and a ball of anxious energy. So for the first time we’ve purchased the Hemp Quiet Moments Calming drops for dogs and cats. I just want to confirm that we should be giving 0.5 up to 3 times a day as needed for his size correct? We just got him to take his first dose with no issues (surprisingly). However, I had no idea that you have a pheromone spray until reading the other posts. Now I’m thinking we should have tried the pheromone spray instead of the drops. Any additional advice or help ? Thanks so much in advance.

  35. Hi Henry. Thank you for your product question. The two products you mentioned can be used together or independently. The Quiet Moments Pheromone Spray can last up to 8 hours which would possible cut down on the amount of doses needed for the Hemp Quiet Moments Calming Drops which is 0.5, up to three times a day.

  36. Hi Denise. Thank you for your product question. The product takes 30-40 minutes to be effective on most cats.

  37. Hello yes we just tried this product on our 2year old shitzu. He has trouble at the groomers. But he came back with his eyes all swollen and red and not able to keep his eyes open. There was no sign of it before he went in. And it was about 40 min after we dosed him that he went to groomers. Has this happen with anyone else. Thank you.

  38. We are picking up our new german shepherd pup 7 weeks old and travelling home with her. It’s a 1000 km. (10-12 hour trip). She weighs 11 pounds. Would it be safe to use it with her?

  39. Hi Joanne. This product is recommended for pups over 12 weeks of age. But we do have a Quiet Moments Calming Pheromone Spray. This works well on puppies because it mimics the pheromones their nursing mother throws off. You can spray it in the car, crate, bedding, etc. And it usually lasts up to 8 hours and then you can use the spray again.
