Harriet Brichta –
I believe that tear stains are caused by a strain of yeast infection. My toy poodle was not eager to eat the Tear Stain product when put on her food, so I put it in size 3 capsules and administer twice a day. It takes about 30 days for the stains to go away completely.
After about a year of clean eyes, I left my dog with a friend while I went to Michigan. I came home and my toy poodle had a serious case of yeast infection around her eyes and private parts. My vet gave me some products to wash the area and told me to start giving Tiffany the Tear Stain supplement again. I did. In about six weeks the yeast was completely gone.

See –
Hi, my dog is allergic with flaxseed, so can I feed him with this tear stain supplement?
NaturVet (store manager) –
Hi See,
Our Tear Stain Powder has 8% flax, our Tear Stain Tabs have 2% flax and our Tear Stain Soft Chews have 7% flax. We would recommend taking this information to your veterinarian and letting him/her make that determination as we do not know your pets complete medical history.
