  1. Our puppy has been on this product for 5 weeks. Still not working. 1 tablet daily. 14lbs 6 month old puppy. If we don’t pick up she eats it.

  2. We are sorry the product is not working for your puppy and will give you a refund. Please just send us a copy of your receipt, the Lot # from the product, and the UPC code #. You can mail it to the address on the container. We do not require that you send the product itself back to us.

  3. Why this information says that up to 40 lb i whole tablet and on the medication bottle on the instructions says up to 40 lb half of the tablet.
Cold you please direct me with the correct information
    Thank you

  4. Hi Paola. Thank you for your product question. I checked the current product labels on our website and on both sizes of the tablet labels and they all say 1/2 tablet for 40 lbs. The directions on the Coprophagia soft chews is 1 soft chew per 40 lbs. This is because the additional ingredients that make up the soft chew require one whole chew to obtain the same amount of active ingredients that contribute to the efficacy of the product. Please take a moment to sign up for our Special Offers and we will mail you a coupon booklet with instant savings on NaturVet products.

  5. Hi Landy. Thank you for your product question. This product is for dogs over 12 weeks of age.

  7. Hi Savannah. Thank you for your product question. We do not recommend you feed Coprophagia Stool Eating Deterrent to cats. Instead, we have formulated Outta My Box to help deter your doggy from “snacking” in your cats litter box. Please check Outta My Box out on our website and let us know if you have any other questions.

  10. Hello,

When should we give the tablets to the dog ? Before eating, after a meal, nightime…? Please specify as it is not mentioned on the box.

    Regards,

  11. Hi Suzanne. If your dog has a sensitive stomach, please feed the product with food. If not, the product can be fed anytime during the day.

  12. My cat got into the container and ate about 40 chews. Will she be ok? She seems fine and was eating her breakfast and had plenty of energy this morning

  15. My puppy just turn 9 weeks, but he is eating his poop constantly. will it be safe to feed him the chew, or I should wait until he turn 12 weeks?

  16. Hi Rina. Thank you for your product question. It is best to wait until your puppy is 12 weeks of age.

  17. Have 1.5 yr old lab and a smaller terrier. The lab eats the terriers poop but not her own. Is it ok to give the chew to just the terrier (who’s poo is being eaten by lab) or give to both. Lab does not eat her own poop and don’t want any chance of her starting. Both dogs and n high quality food.

  18. My pup is a Yorkie mix, weighs 7 lbs and I have been giving her 1/2 tab each day now for a week. She has been fine but this morning she had a dark diarrhea stool. Can you tell me if this is a symptom of too much or too little of the tab?

  19. Ya doesn’t work… I wasted 20$. I decide to give it a chance. Used the whole bag according to the instructions on the back. Just finished the bag and my 6month old Rottweiler still eats her poop.

  20. Hi Kenny. We are sorry the product is not working for your dog but you have not wasted your money because NaturVet gives a 100% Money Back Guarantee on all our products. Please call the phone number listed on the label and we will provide you with information on the Refund Policy.

And thank you for giving the product a try with your dog.

  21. Hi Mary. Thank you for your product question. We suggest you take your doggy off of the product and see if the stool returns to its normal color. If it remains dark, we would suggest a visit to your Veterinarian. And of course we will give you a refund on the product.

Please give our office a call 888-628-8783 and speak with someone in Customer Service so we can keep updated on your dog’s issue.

  22. Hi Joe. Thank you for your product question. You are correct. Please feed the product to the dog who is producing the stool being eaten. However, if you suspect your Lab may start eating it’s own stool, you can feed it to both dogs.

  23. How long do you give it if using to stop eating poop only…I have gone thru all comments and googled and I can’t find suggestion of length of time..one dog is six months other is one year, yorkied

  24. Hi Kay. Thank you for your product question. Coprophagia is usually a habit and the product needs to be fed for at least 30 days to break it. For more information, please call our Customer Service office 888-628-8783.

  25. Hi Lori. Your cat should be fine by ingesting only one chew. If your cat had a reaction, please call 888-628-8783 and speak with someone in Customer Service.

  26. Hi My dog weighs 14 lbs. and I am giving him one chew per day. It doesn’t seem to be working as he is still going into the cat box to get stool. Can I double the dose, or is this bad? Thanks so much!

  27. Hi Jill. Thank you for your product question. The Coprophagia product stops dogs from eating other dogs stool. It cannot be fed to cats. The product you need is Outta My Box as it is fed to both the cat and the dog. Please call our customer service team at 888-628-8783 and they can arrange to swap your product out for you.

  28. My 40 dog got to a brand new can of chews, about 130 total – she ate it all. She seems to be behaving normal. Do I need to worry?

  29. Hi Allie. We just picked up your email and are hoping your dog is okay. Can you please contact our customer service team at 888-628-8783 Mon-Fri 8 am- 5 pm PST or via email at naturvet@naturvet.com?

  30. Is this product supposed to make the stool taste bad or to make the stool eating dog throw up. We are on day 2. My stool eating dog just threw up the most horrible smelling brown goo. Smelled like the worst smelling poo ever. Is this normal?

  31. Hi Dennis. The product is supposed to deter your dog from stool eating by making the stool taste foul not vomiting it up. Please discontinue feeding the product and contact our customer service team at 888-628-8783 Mon-Fri 8 am- 5 pm PST or via email at naturvet@naturvet.com to obtain your refund.

  32. About how long will it take before my dog is deterred from eating the poop? We are on day 3 and she still is trying to eat poop.

  33. Hi Jennifer. Since most poop eating is a habit, it may take up to 30 days to break it. If not, we offer a 100% Money Back Guarantee.

  34. Hi Rita. If your dog is eating your cat’s stool, then you need to feed them both the Outta My Box product. And we will certainly give you a refund on the Coprophagia product. Please call our Customer Service at 888-628-8783.

  35. Hi:

I have a 14 weeks dachshunds that weights around 4 pound. I’ve been given half a chew a day to my puppy for about a week and it seemed to work better at first, now she is back to eating her poop if I’m not around to pick it up. Should I continue giving her half a chew or should I go up to a complete chew a day?

  36. Hi Mariel. Thank you for your product question. Since your puppy only weighs four pounds one whole chew might give her runny stools. It usually takes four weeks to break this habit especially in puppies so I would give the product a little more time to work. If she is still stool eating after four weeks, you can add another 1/4 chew.

  37. Hi Samantha. Thank you for your product question. You can start off by giving your puppy 1/2 chew. Since stool eating in puppies can be a learned habit, it make take up to 30 days to break it. If 1/2 chew does not do the trick, you can give him up to one chew a day but split the dosage am & pm.

  38. Hi, I am trying out your coprophagia soft chews for the first time. My maltipoo puppy is 14 weeks old and weighs 2.1 kg. How much of the soft chew should I give her? Thanks.

  39. Hi Angeline. You can start off giving your puppy one half of a chew for one week. If that is not effective, please give one half chew two times a day. Usually puppies out grow the stool eating habit by the time they are 6 or 7 months old.
